After hearing and reading about crossing the Chesapeake Bay  we went across in wonderful water, had heard some horror stories....Staying at the Solomon's Island Marina, with other Looper boats that were at Onancock,  the Marina has a shuttle to take you to the mkt. dinner whatever.  Also a short bike ride to the Museum which was great and Rich rode to West Marine while I made a mkt run. Rich had some maintenance done that he did not want to do..Every night loopers get together for docktails, bring your own beverage and a snack...great time. Also when you pull into a Marina or dock and other Looper's see your Looper Flag they  come and help with the lines, etc.. And when you depart all come and help throw lines as you leave...What a great bunch of people we have met.  Flowers everywhere, nice landscaping, and employees everywhere so pleasant and helpful. We manage to have a new ezperience every day or should I say learning experience...today's was mine.  I was in a hurry to help get lines off for some friends leaving,, and grabbed my lipstick, and the cover went into the toilet....and my hands won't fit !!  Tried several things before asking for Rich's help, and he recovered it and wow it would have trashed the maserator pump.  The mechanical fingers are at Bondair...should have brought them....Bought some last stop, now in Cape May,N J. We had a great time in Annapolis,Md.  lots of boat traffic as it was a Holiday weekend.  We contacted KW friends (Walt & Sue Dennison)  they made arrangements for us to raft up to their friends sailboat on their dock in a nice quiet river away from all the boat traffic, it was terrific as were they.  Walt & Sue left us a car and we went to the Naval Academy and took the walking tour, then  the next day we went back for Mass in the Chapel....WOW....3 Tiffany huge windows, breath taking.  We walked  around with the wonderful old homes and tiny gardens.  Next we went to Baltimore, more good water traveling, got a hold of more K W friends,Tippy & Fred, they gave us their Baltimore tour, so interesting, and then treated us to dinner with her special Crab Cakes, and they are SPECIAL...also got to see their daughter and son in law (we met in K W) and got to see their lovely home, boat etc. We took the water taxi out to Ft McHenry and that fort did a major part in forming our America. This is where Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner after a battle.

All along we are running into or traveling with other Loopers, not planned just happens and we so enjoy seeing one another again.  Now we are waiting waiting for good water to go out into the Atlantic Ocean, to Atlantic City.  By the way we are on our 3rd VHF radio, Rich is trying to resolve the electrical problem, called an electrician but so far no reply, thanks to Bobby & Lee's gift of a hand held we  are ok....Our charts are not easy for us to use, yesterday we started a different type and hopefully this will be easier.  The I pad Rich gave me has helped greatly...Aviation charts are far better !!!  Today in June 1st, can you believe it ???  I am still having a hard time putting photos on this blog...I have a bunch !!  Any help anyone ?  Maybe there  is somewhere a spot I can just download our photos with ease after I edit them ????  We stay so busy I do not have a lot of time to try and figure this out, or I am just not savy enough !!  Happy June 1st to all.
